At St Peter's, we care for the whole person - not just their medical needs. Our Spiritual Care Team is here to support patients, families and carers during difficult times.
Spiritual care is for everyone. You do not need to be religious, and there is no expectation to follow any belief or faith. What matters most to us is listening to you and supporting what is important in your life.
What is spiritual care?
Spiritual care is about helping people make sense of what they are going through. When someone is living with serious illness, they may have questions, worries, or thoughts about meaning, identity, relationships, hope, or loss.
Spiritual care can include:
Talking things through with someone who will listen without judgement
Finding comfort, calm or reassurance
Exploring what gives your life meaning or strength
Supporting emotional and spiritual wellbeing
Everyone's experience is different, and we take time to understand what matters to you.
