Join our Great Bristol Run team!

The Great Bristol Run 10k and Half Marathon event is on 10 May 2026 and we'd love to have you on the team!

What support will I receive from the Hospice?

When you sign up we will support you all the way with fundraising tips and words of encouragement as the big day approaches. Once you've raised £25, we'll also send you a St Peter's Hospice running vest which you can wear with pride during training and on event day.

We will be there to cheer you along the route as loud as we can as you run and as you cross the finish line.

Last year, over 250 runners took part for St Peter's Hospice. You'll be part of a big community of runners, all taking part and cheering each other on for the same cause.

Do I need to let you know that I am running for the Hospice?

If you sign up through the Great Run Company or Run For Charity then they will let us know that you are running for us, so you don't need to let us know. However, if you'd like to get in touch direct, or if you're doing it with friends or colleagues, we'd love to hear from you. You can contact us on supportercare@stpetershospice.org or 01275 391 400.

What's the best way to fundraise for the Hospice?

You can set up a page on JustGiving or on Enthuse so that your friends and family can sponsor you online. You can also pay in any sponsorship direct to us via our website donation form.

How much should I aim to raise for the Hospice?

We kindly ask that you raise £500 if you are taking part in the half marathon, and £150 if you are taking part in the 10k. Just 18% of our funds are from the NHS, which means we rely on you, our amazing community, to fundraise for our patients. By fundraising, you will be directly helping our patients and their families who need our care, during the most difficult time.
