We are here to support you

St Peter's Hospice is a local charity that provides care and support to adults who are living with a progressive life-limiting illness in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area. We have been established for over 40 years with the majority of our support provided in people's homes.

People receiving our care have a wide range of conditions, including cancer, heart failure, lung disease and neurological illness. Support is focused around the physical, psychological, social and spiritual issues that can arise as a result of serious illness, in order to improve the quality of a person's life. Everyone is unique, and we provide support with that in mind.

Our Care

The need for care and comfort never stops. Could you send a Christmas gift?

Your support makes it possible for patients to get the care they need in the place they feel most comfortable, 365 days a year.

£20 could help fund a nurse's time on our 24 hour Advice Line ensuring patients can access the help they need

£45 could help pay for our Hospice at Home team to provide hands on care to patients in the last few weeks of their life

£75 could go towards the cost of a Community Nurse Specialist to give bespoke advice and support

Ways You Can Make a Difference

There are lots of ways to support St Peter’s and the work we do, from baking to cycling to sorting donations in our shops. However you get involved, you’ll be making a huge difference to St Peter’s and the wider Bristol community.

Important Announcement: Light Up a Life Event on 7 December cancelled

Due to the storm predicted to arrive this weekend and the rare red weather warning issued by The Met Office across Bristol and the South West, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the event.

We know how important this event is for our community and we share your disappointment, but the safety of our patients and supporters is our highest priority.

If you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us via community@stpetershospice.org
