We understand that caring for someone who is very unwell can impact upon the people around them. The whole family can be affected practically, emotionally and financially. We offer a range of support to carers and family members.

Patient and carers drop in
Please come along for an informal chat, a cup of tea and a slice of cake. We can discuss your needs and work out the best way to support you. The session is open to patients and their family and friends. Neither yourself or your family member needs to have been referred to the Hospice.
Psychological support for carers
Our Carers drop in sessions are designed for current carers that care for those who have life limiting or shortening conditions. These sessions are opportunities to explore the psychological challenges of your caring role in a supportive community. They are available to attend either face to face at the Hospice in Brentry or online.
