Hospice Open Gardens

Enjoy the Hospice gardens in bloom at our Open Gardens Day.

Online ticket sales have now closed, but there will be limited tickets available to purchase on the day.

Whether you're a keen gardener or would simply like to learn more about the Hospice, we invite you to visit for a special opportunity to spend some time in our beautiful and welcoming outdoor space.

There will be cream teas available, flower arranging workshops, musical performances and tours from our Gardener. You'll have the chance to learn more about how we maintain the gardens and their role at the Hospice, our wide variety of expertly-chosen flowers and our Memory Tree.

The gardens are crafted to be a therapeutic place for patients and their families - by buying a ticket, you can support us in continuing to maintain a relaxing and welcoming space that supports people in your community when they need it most.

We expect this popular event to sell out, so please book online in advance to secure your places.

As well as enjoying the beautiful Hospice gardens, you can also attend in a number of talks on the day. These talks are free and included in your entry ticket.

Workshops

Shirley, one of our volunteer florists at the Hospice, is offering a teacup flower arranging workshop on the day. This workshop will be running at 10:30am and 1pm for 45 minutes. This workshop can be booked using the link below and costs £15 and includes your entry to the gardens.

In this workshop you'll make a small floral arrangement in a recycled china teacup and saucer from our shops. Seasonal flowers and foliage will be provided from the Hospice Garden where possible. They make a great gift for a loved one. This workshop is suitable for beginners.
