We've opened our second Superstore in Wyndham Way Retail Park in Portishead.

After the success of our first new concept Superstore in Clifton, which opened last year, we've opened our second and largest Superstore in Portishead. Similar to our Clifton Superstore, the new Portishead shop specialises in furniture - both preloved and new, as well as stocking homeware, electricals, white goods and preloved clothing. 

The shop also offers a handy delivery service for larger items, and free furniture collection. Making donations is also quick and easy, with a donation station inside to drop off your smaller items.

The Superstore is the second St Peter's Hospice shop in Portishead, with the boutique on the high street specialising in clothing, vintage items and children’s clothes and toys. 

Local Bristol resident and Married at First Sight star, Emma Barnes opened the shop at our exclusive preview event. She says: "It's fantastic that St Peter's Hospice are opening a second Superstore and I'm proud to be a part of the launch!

"I love sustainable shopping and always get a buzz of excitement when I find a great piece for the home or something really stylish for my wardrobe at a bargain price. This new store is fab as it stocks amazing furniture and bits for the home as well as fashion, meaning you can update your home and your wardrobe in one visit."

John Broomhead, Retail Director says: "We're delighted to be opening our second Superstore in Portishead, and our largest Superstore yet! These stores are slightly different to the ones you see on the high street, in that they focus primarily on furniture and homeware, with smaller sections for clothing and accessories.

"We wanted to create a store which offered great quality preloved items for the home at affordable prices. We know that our customers really value sustainability and that extends to items in the home too. The gems you expect to find in our smaller charity shops are there to be found in our Superstores, but on a much larger scale.

"The people of Portishead have always been hugely supportive of our first store – shopping there and generously donating items – so we're pleased to be expanding our presence in the town and offering shoppers something slightly different. It's a great location and I think it will become a welcome asset to the community."

Shop Manager, Jason Bamfield, said: "Our Superstore is a great place to find everything you need for your home and wardrobe. As well as providing a sustainable way to shop, we're also raising money for a really important local cause and ensuring people have access to the best possible end of life care.

Our delivery service is a great perk, with our team on hand to deliver larger items direct to your front door. Similarly, if you have large furniture to donate we'll collect it for free, making it as hassle-free as possible."
