Sarah became Director of Fundraising and Communications in 2021. She had initially joined the Hospice in 2017 as Head of Fundraising, just ahead of the Room to Care Appeal – a capital appeal to raise the funds required to rebuild the Inpatient Unit at Brentry. Prior to that Sarah had worked in the charity sector for 10 years, much of that time at CLIC Sargent, and before that had worked in a variety of PR and marketing roles in the private sector.
Sarah's focus is on supporter experience and ensuring that everyone who is motivated to support the Hospice is supported in doing so and understands the difference they make. Sarah spends much of her free time enjoying the outdoors with her young family.
